Riftbeast 10: TFT Set 18 comp guide
Ten Riftbeasts at level 10: Elder Dragon counts as two, and Riftbeast 10 adds two team slots, so Taric and Gnar make a twelve-slot board. Every five seconds of every fight, the Riftbeasts grow.

Overview
Commit when Riftbeasts flood your early shops and a level augment comes: at level 8, seven Riftbeasts already grow every five seconds of a fight. Riftbeast 5 also overruns a shop with Riftbeasts every few combats, which makes the two-stars easy to find on the way.
