PivotTFT ranks 66 comps for Teamfight Tactics Set 18 on patch 18.4b. Every one has its own guide with the board, items, augments and a game plan:

How to use this comp tier list

Every comp here is a full game plan for Teamfight Tactics Set 18: the final board, the carries and the items to build on them, the augments that fit, the traits it plays and what to do in the early, mid and late game. Open a comp to see its guide, or start typing a champion, trait, item or augment and pick it from the suggestions to see only the comps that use it. Pick up to four and you see the comps that have all of them (in Grid the others fade).

What the tiers mean

  • S: the strongest and most consistent comps this patch. Worth steering towards from most openings.
  • A: strong comps and often the right call when your early units or items point to them.
  • B: good when you find the key units or items, but less forgiving.
  • C: playable with the right opening; rarely worth forcing.
  • X (situational): strong only in particular lobbies or with particular augments. These comps stay in X; the letter on one says how strong it is when its moment comes, and the small pictures beside it show what it waits for: an augment, an emblem or another item.

Play styles

  • Reroll: stay at a low level and spend gold rolling for three-star copies of cheaper champions.
  • Fast 8: save gold, level to 8 quickly and roll there for 4-cost carries.
  • Fast 9: push to level 9 for 5-cost champions and the biggest late-game boards.
  • Standard: level at the usual pace and stabilise as you go.
  • Flex: follow what the game gives you and pivot between lines.

The tiers are PivotTFT's own assessment of the current patch and change when the balance does. They are advice, not live match statistics.
