About PivotTFT
PivotTFT is a free, independent guide to Teamfight Tactics.
Who makes PivotTFT
PivotTFT is made by Dimitar Petrov, a student at the Technical University of Sofia in Bulgaria, who has played Teamfight Tactics since Set 6. Peak rank: Emerald II (Set 16). Riot ID: Dim4oDebeliq#Debel.
What you will find here
Everything is for the current set, and each tier list shows the patch it is for:
- The comp tier list: every comp ranked from S to C (X for situational picks), each with its own guide: the final board, the carries and their items, the augments that fit, the traits it plays and what to do in each stage of the game. Every comp's board can be copied as a team code and pasted into the Team Planner in the TFT client.
- The item tier list, each item with a note on where it shines, and the augment tier list, each augment with a note on when to take it where the editors have written one, and otherwise what it does.
- The team builder: plan a board on the hex grid, watch the traits add up, and share it with a link or take it into the game as a team code.
- Patch reports: what Riot changed in each patch of the set, and from patch 18.3b on, every tier that moved on our lists.
- Guides to how the game works, and Set 18 info: its traits and every augment, and a page for every champion and every item with its stats or recipe and the comps that use it.
How the lists are made
The tiers and notes are PivotTFT's own assessment of the current patch, put together from the official patch notes, public information about the game and how comps and items place in games at high ranks. They are opinions about what is strong, written to help you decide during a game. They are not live match statistics, and they change when the balance changes.
Independent and free
PivotTFT is not made or endorsed by Riot Games. Everything on the site is free to read. Champion, item and augment art belongs to Riot Games and is used under Riot's fan content policy.
Accessibility
PivotTFT aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, on phones, tablets and computers alike. Every page works with a keyboard alone: Skip to content comes first, the focus is always visible, and the team builder's drag and drop has a tap and keyboard way too. Screen readers hear what the site tells you, such as a copied link or team code. Text and controls meet the contrast minimums, pages fit a 320px wide screen without scrolling sideways, and motion follows your device's reduce-motion setting.
