Elder Dragon Fast 9: TFT Set 18 comp guide
The most played line of the patch: Draven and Elder Dragon at level 9, with Maokai, Amumu, Sentinel and Taric in front and Kennen and Ivern between. Elder Dragon takes two team slots and counts as two Riftbeasts, so he and Sentinel turn on Riftbeast 3. It places better at high ranks than below them.

Overview
Your cue is a stage 3 with high health and gold: the line only comes together at level 9, so Amumu and Sentinel at two stars have to hold you at 8. As the most played line in 18.3b it is often contested; if two others go for Draven and the Dragon, Ashe Fast 9 needs neither. Hold at 8 instead of rolling there, since the 5-costs show up mostly at 9.

Mid game
Level 8 at 4-1 with Amumu and Sentinel two-star, then save for level 9; build Draven's Guinsoo's and Kraken's on a holder.
Late game
Level 9 at 5-1 and roll for Elder Dragon, Draven, Maokai, Kennen, Ivern and Taric; the Dragon's two slots fill the level 9 board with eight units.
TipDraven takes Deathblade, Guinsoo's Rageblade and Kraken's Fury, Elder Dragon Infinity Edge, Sterak's Gage and Striker's Flail, and Maokai the tank items. Kennen with Edge of Night, Hand of Justice and Jeweled Gauntlet places very well when the items are spare.
