TFT Set 18 Emblems: Every Recipe and Where Each Emblem Goes

By PivotTFT · Updated 13 October 2026 · 6 min read

An emblem gives its holder a trait it doesn't have. That one extra unit can push you to a higher breakpoint, or let a strong carry join a trait it normally can't, and it's how a lot of this patch's best boards hit their numbers. Below are all the Set 18 recipes, the emblems you only get from augments, and where each one goes in the comps on our tier list.

How emblems work

  • The holder gains the trait. It counts once towards that trait like any other champion with it, and a champion never counts twice for a trait it already has.
  • Some add a bonus:
  • It takes an item slot. An emblem is one of the holder's three items, so it competes with the items that actually make the unit stronger.

Every recipe

Most emblems are a Spatula or a Frying Pan plus one other component:

Not craftable (from augments and other sources): Coven Emblem, Defender Emblem, Flora Fatalis Emblem, Juggernaut Emblem, Phantom Emblem.

Where each emblem goes this patch

Each comp's guide says what its emblem adds, and plenty of comps also name an emblem in their tips as the best extra if one shows up.

Augments that give emblems

  • Branching Out gives a random emblem, and Spreading Roots gives one now and another a few combats later.
  • The Trait Tree gives random emblems and some gold, and Tactician's Kitchen a random emblem now and a Tactician's Cape later.
  • Frontline Foundation gives a two-star 1-cost tank and an emblem of its class; Backline Blueprint gives a 3-cost that isn't a tank, with an emblem of its class.
  • Consuming Flora gives a Flora Fatalis emblem, which also makes its holder get more out of the trait.

Getting the most from one

  • Count to the next step. An emblem is worth the most when it reaches a new breakpoint: one more Rapidfire unit, one more Inferno unit, the fourth Invoker.
  • Put it on a unit that stays. An emblem on a champion you'll sell later has to move; give it to a carry or a tank that's there until the end.
  • Check the trait first. A random emblem can point you at a comp: look it up in the comp search and see which lines use it.
