How to Use the PivotTFT Team Builder and TFT Team Codes
Our team builder lets you plan a board before you play it: where every unit stands, its stars and items, the traits it turns on and the augments you want. Team codes move that board into the Team Planner in the TFT client, and back again.
Place your units
- Drag a champion onto any hex, or tap it to drop it on the hex you picked, or on the first free hex from the front line back.
- Drag a unit to move it, onto another unit to swap them, or off the board to remove it.
- On a phone, tap a unit to pick it, then tap an empty hex to move it there.
- Search the roster by name, or type a trait to see only its champions; the cost filters narrow it down further.
The traits list counts each champion once and shows how close every trait is to its next breakpoint, so you can see what one more unit would turn on.
Stars, items and augments
A picked unit gets its star level and up to three items. You can also drag items straight onto a unit, and an emblem adds its trait to whoever holds it, which the traits list counts. You can add up to three augments too, the way a game offers them, and the saved image shows them with the board.
Start from a comp guide
Every comp guide on the comp tier list has an Open in builder button that opens its final board here, ready to change. Try it with Alune Fast 9: move the carry, swap a unit and watch the traits update.
Team codes and the TFT client
Copy team code, on every comp guide and in the builder, puts the board's champions on your clipboard as a code the Team Planner in the TFT client can read. Paste it there and the champions show up, so the shop can tell you which ones you have and which you still need.
It works the other way too. Copy a code from the Team Planner, paste it into the box under our board, and its champions get set down from the front line back, ready to move, star and itemise. A Team Planner code starts with 02 and ends with TFTSet18.
Tip A team code only holds the champions, not their hexes, stars or items. Place them again after pasting, or share a link instead when the positions matter.
Share a board
- Copy link copies the page address, and the board lives in that address: whoever opens it sees exactly your board. Nothing gets stored on our server.
- Save image downloads a picture of the board with its traits and augments, for a message or a post.
Undo, redo and the keyboard
Undo and redo take back or repeat your last changes, and Ctrl+Z works from the keyboard too. You can reach every part of the builder with Tab, and Enter or Space acts on whatever has focus.
